About our Riverside concrete contractor company

We build concrete driveways, patios and slabs for Riverside homeowners, on a solid base and sloped to shed water.

Careful work, done by the book

I learned concrete on a city public works crew, pouring sidewalks, curbs and ramps to a written spec while an inspector watched. In 2013 I started Riverside Concrete Company here in Riverside to bring that same care to homes and small properties. Most of our calls come from homeowners, and some from property owners with a lot, a wall or a foundation that needs attention.

I care most about the work you won't see once the pour is done. The packed base under the slab, the joints we cut so cracks follow a line we chose, and the way water runs off decide how a driveway holds up for years. If your budget gets tight, I'd rather simplify the finish than skimp on the base, because a good surface can't save a weak one.

Being straight with people matters to me as much as the concrete does. If a different approach or a specialist would serve you better, I'll tell you so. If you'd like to talk your project over, please call (951) 631-9520 or use our contact page.

The full range of concrete work we do

  • Concrete driveway building

A new driveway poured on a dug-out, packed base, for when the old one has cracked, sunk or started pooling water near the garage.

  • Concrete patio construction

Patios for meals and gatherings outside, sloped so rain runs away from the house. Call when the old slab is uneven or you're adding outdoor space.

  • Stamped concrete services

Concrete pressed with a pattern and color so it looks like stone, brick or tile, for a patio or walk you want to dress up.

  • Concrete sidewalk building

Front walks and side paths poured with a broom finish, a light brushed texture that gives shoes grip when wet. Call when sections have lifted into trip edges.

  • Garage floor concrete

A new garage slab, or a replacement for one that's cracked, stained or settling, poured thick enough for the weight of parked cars.

  • Decorative concrete

Colored, scored or textured finishes for slabs you see every day. Call when plain gray concrete doesn't suit the house or the yard around it.

  • Concrete retaining walls

Concrete walls that hold back soil on a sloped lot, with drainage so water doesn't pile up behind them. Call when a bank is slipping or eroding.

  • Concrete floor installation

Interior concrete floors for additions, workshops and rooms that need a hard, level surface, finished smooth or ready for the flooring you choose.

  • Concrete pool decks

The slab around your pool, sloped away from the water and finished to give bare feet grip. Call when the old deck is cracked, lifted or slick.

  • Concrete steps construction

Front and back steps with even step heights and a solid base underneath. Call when old steps have crumbled at the edges or pulled away from the house.

  • Slab foundation building

The slab an addition, garage or backyard building sits on, poured over packed, level ground with steel bars inside to help hold it together.

  • Foundation installation

Footings and foundation walls for new structures and additions, laid out and poured to the plans so the building above sits square and well supported.

  • Concrete parking lot building

Concrete parking areas for small properties and lots, graded so water drains off and built thick enough for daily traffic. Call when asphalt keeps failing.

  • Concrete footings

The buried concrete pads and strips that carry posts, walls, patio covers and additions. Reach us when your plans need footings or old ones have shifted.

  • Foundation raising

Lifting and leveling a foundation that has settled, for when you see sticking doors, sloping floors or cracks spreading across walls and slabs.

  • Concrete cutting

Clean saw cuts through slabs, walls and driveways for new openings, plumbing trenches or removing a damaged section without breaking up the rest.
